Outstanding New Design by Atelier Papillon and it's wonderfully bright, cheerful and colorful.  Both bangles shown feature 7 layers of bakelite, one in turquoise and clear and the other in purple and clear bakelite.  Each bangle has the clear color on the outside edges, giving the illusion of the edges being the color beneath with a cool watery effect that changes as you turn the bangle from one direction to the other.  The topper is a variety of dots, in varying colors and size.

As most bakelite collectors know bakelite oxidizes and it can take years but the colors change - the purple will become a deep dusty mauve and applejuice. The turquoise will acquire a green and applejuice coloration.

Atelier Papillon takes great care in picking color combinations that look great both when first made and also the eventual patinated colors.

Dimensions on both bangles are right around 1" wide X 2 5/8" wrist opening x 1/4" wall thickness.
